The PayPep Standard · v2026.3

The bar is public. The weights are public. The way back is public.

This page is the methodology we score you against — published in full, versioned, and applied without exception. If a rule isn't written here, it isn't a rule.

A hard fail ends the scan at any score. Hard fails are listed below — all of them.
§2 · Hard fails

Seven conditions end the scan.

Exhaustive · no unwritten rules
HF-1Human-use dosing guidance anywhere on the property — pages, PDFs, meta tags, structured data.
HF-2Therapeutic or outcome claims for any compound, including testimonials and before/after imagery.
HF-3GLP-1 or scheduled substances offered direct to consumers.
HF-4Kits or bundles that only make sense for human administration.
HF-5Unverifiable or fabricated CoAs, or suppliers that cannot be identified.
HF-6Ownership that fails KYB — sanctions hits, undisclosed control, synthetic entities.
HF-7Disclaimers contradicted by SEO, ads, or checkout copy — saying RUO while selling otherwise.
What a hard fail looks likeEvery hard fail is delivered as a cited finding — quote, source URL, capture timestamp, hash — never as a vague "policy violation".

alwaysfindings timestamped and hashed at capture; the log is exportable
§4 · Suspension governance

The kill switch has rules too.

DRIFTalert with the cited finding · cure window opens · nothing else changes
SUSTAINEDprocessing suspended · payouts continue · file stays open with the checklist
HARD FAILimmediate suspension · cited letter within 24h · re-scan path stated
ALWAYStwo operators sign every suspension · applied to anchor merchants without exception
